1. Every Output Is a Planning Estimate

Each calculator on this site produces indicative figures built from published assumptions: city-level peak sun hours, a 0.8 performance ratio, indicative 2026 turnkey prices of roughly ₹58,000 to ₹85,000 per kW by system type, DISCOM planning tariffs, a conservative ₹3 per unit export proxy and standard battery, inverter and wiring norms. These assumptions are stated openly under every tool. Real quotes, generation, bills and savings will differ with your roof, shading, components, installer, DISCOM policy and weather. Nothing on this site is a quotation, a guarantee of generation or savings, or a promise of any specific outcome.

2. Subsidy Figures Can Change

Our subsidy calculator and cost tools model the central residential rooftop subsidy (up to ₹78,000) and known state top-ups as publicly announced. Government schemes change, budgets get exhausted and state rules vary in the fine print. Always verify current subsidy eligibility and amounts on the official national portal and with your DISCOM before making a purchase decision. We are not a government website and have no role in any subsidy scheme.

3. Not Financial, Legal or Engineering Advice

The EMI calculator is not a loan offer and its rates are illustrative; actual bank terms differ. Payback and ROI projections rest on assumed tariff escalation (~5% per year) that no one can guarantee. Electrical outputs such as wire sizes and inverter ratings are planning aids, not a substitute for design by a licensed electrician or certified installer, and all installations must follow applicable electrical codes and DISCOM regulations.

4. No Affiliation, No Endorsement

solarcalculators.online is independent. We are not affiliated with any government ministry, DISCOM, panel or inverter manufacturer, financer or installation company, and we deliberately avoid recommending brands. Advertisements shown on this site are served by Google AdSense; an ad appearing here is not our endorsement of the advertiser, and any dealings with advertisers are strictly between you and them.

5. Accuracy and Updates

We review the underlying data periodically (the "Updated" badge on each page reflects the last content revision) and correct verified errors reported to us at contact@solarcalculators.online. Even so, the site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and we accept no liability for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of these estimates. Your sole remedy if you disagree with anything here is to not rely on the site.
